Orchestra Hall

The Detroit Chamber Orchestra is excited to extend this opportunity to our community members to perform at Detroit’s Historic Orchestra Hall as part of our All-City Symphony.

Our conductor, Jherrard Hardeman has been invited once again by the James Tatum Foundation to present two pieces at their annual gala and decided this event should feature as many talented musicians from our community as possible.

Now entering our fourth year of performing for this event, we’ve decided to continue the tradition of bringing students and community members from Detroit and the surrounding areas together to perform Sibelius’ Finlandia, Hardeman’s Tribute to Mister Rogers, and the beautiful spiritual Deep River.

The event that will take place on Sunday March 24, 2019 at 5:30pm at Orchestra Hall in Detroit is the premiere fundraising event for the James Tatum Foundation. It will be a celebration of Classical and Jazz music and will feature notable Tatum Foundation alumni (including conductor Jherrard Hardeman) and the James Tatum Trio Plus!

Tickets are available for purchase through the James Tatum Foundation website or by calling the foundation at (313) 255-9015.
